We’re giving you on-demand access to world-class shows and movies and ensuring you never miss a moment with our renowned PVR, BoxOffice and Catch Up. The DStv Explora Ultra puts the power in your hands so you can enjoy all the best content, exactly the way you want to.
- Enjoy streaming services including DStv, Showmax, Netflix, Prime Video and YouTube - directly from the APPS button on your remote. You can even add Netflix to your DStv account (Streaming subscription required).
- Watch Catch Up on your new Explora Ultra. There's over 175 hours ready to enjoy at any time and if you connect your Explora Ultra to the internet, you'll get all the Catch Up content for your package.
- Pause live TV for up to two hours and record up to 110 hours of your favorite shows. Savour every moment with instant replays, fast forward, rewind and slow motion.
- Easily find something to enjoy with the eight-day TV guide and recommendations across DStv, BoxOffice, Showmax and selected apps-access all this from the HOME button.
You can connect your Explora Ultra to the internet with built-in WiFi or via an ethernet cable (not included). Data charges apply when the DStv Explora Ultra is connected to the internet. Although a capped connection may be used for limited streaming, we recommend an uncapped connection (due to volume of data consumed when streaming), with line speed based on your viewing requirements.
A minimum 2Mbps is recommended for SD downloads; for SD streaming, a minimum of 4Mbps; for HD streaming*, a minimum of 10Mbps (plus connection to an HD capable TV); for 4K streaming*, we recommend checking the requirements of the individual content suppliers (plus connection to a 4K-capable TV).
Our newest remote gives you full control of your Explora Ultra. We’ve added an APPS button to give you quick access to our streaming apps and a HOME button where you’ll find recommendations. There’s also quick access to your Playlist, Catch Up, BoxOffice and the TV Guide.
This remote features backlighting and can be programmed to control other audio/visual equipment.
Your decoder comes with a one-year warranty. To extend your coverage further, get Device Insurance with DStv. NMS Insurance Services (SA) Limited policy sets out terms and conditions under which your decoder will be insured.

Delivering your online order:
This service is available throughout South Africa. Delivery usually takes between 3 to 15 working days, Monday to Friday (excluding weekends and public holidays) on condition your order is placed and confirmation and payment is received.

The price of delivery is calculated automatically, and the amount will be displayed in the shopping cart and at checkout before the payment process is completed.
What are the delivery time frames?
Delivery service timeframes will start after payment confirmation has been received, unless supporting documents like the verification of an I.D. document is required.
Delivery periods will generally be effected within the selected delivery type timeframe, after collection from the point of dispatch and between major centres, Monday to Friday.
We deliver from Monday to Friday from 08h00 to 17h00 to both business and residential addresses.
No deliveries will take place on a Saturday, Sunday or any other Public Holiday.
If you place your order before 12h00 on a Friday, (deliveries exclude Saturday and Sunday), your delivery will take place on Monday. Specific outlying Delivery area routes and centres may experience a further delay due to the lack of transportation available.
Major centres include any destination within a 40km radius of the following cities, Pretoria, Johannesburg, Bloemfontein, Cape Town, Port Elizabeth, East London, Durban, Pietermaritzburg and Nelspruit. Delivery outside the main centres are usually 3 to 15 working days. The following areas may experience delays due to airline constraints: George, Northern Cape, Nelspruit, Richards Bay, Polokwane and Welkom.
Incorrect items or quantity delivered:
Should the wrong products or the incorrect number of products be delivered to you, you need to notify Bradlows immediately so that we can rectify the situation.
