Make Your Leather Last Longer

You have invested in quality leather furniture. Leather furniture offers you many benefits, such as durability, long-lasting, steady temperature, and it’s very easy to care for.

Leather is very easy to care for. Under normal conditions, regular dry-cloth dusting and vacuuming the crevices is sufficient to clean leather furniture. Ensure that you use a conditioner every 6-12 months. Wipe up spills as they occur with a clean cloth, while avoiding making use of the usual cleaning supplies – like solvents, soaps, detergents, polish, oils, or varnish. If you really want to use cleaners designed for leather, do so, but a regular cloth and water will do.

Immediately wipe up any excess liquid with a clean absorbent cloth or sponge on any small spots and spills. Only if it is really needed, use a lightly moistened cloth with lukewarm water. Allow it to dry naturally. For minor scratches on the surface, use a chamois or clean fingers to gently buff the scratch. If needed, moisten lightly with distilled water to work scratches out.

Protect your furniture from sun and direct light to keep up the look of your leather. Like any upholstery material, leather can fade to some degree if exposed to the sun.
